The Nursery

So we have just about finished the nursery. It turned into a butterfly theme without even trying. We loved the sheers from Pottery barn that had the butterflies and then we ran with it. We really love it. I go in there all the time and just look around imagining what life is going to be like with Grace. Our lives are going to change so much (in a great way)! I have to give most of the credit to Tony. He really did most of the work while I ordered him around. :-) I can't do too much 9 months pregnant. Except I did iron the curtains only to be told that there were still wrinkles in them. I suddenly has flashbacks to my childhood. "Get that wrinkle out of the bed." (Only my sisters and cousins will get that one) Anyway... If she decides to come early we are all ready for her.

Texy thinks this room is for him. He's wondering
how he is going to get into that crib. He's still
waiting for his ladder :-)

  1. The nursery looks BEAUTIFUL and I'm sure Grace will love her new books, mobile, and butterflies galore. As comfortable as the chair and crib may be, nothing will compare to the solitude of Kelly's belly . . . well, minus a few fights with sour patch kids along the way(smile), so make sure you, Tony, and Grace all enjoy the last few weeks before her birth. I am elated that you decided to capture these special moments on your blog (especially since you go to sleep at 7pm these days). I love you both and I plan on giving the WORLD to Grace. All the best, Karen
