Going through my pictures I came across these two pictures. Last year when Aunt Fran was diagnosed with cancer I made her a photo book filled with pictures and stories. I think Noelle or Meg sent me these pictures. It was Christmas Eve and Aunt Fran was reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to her nieces.

I remember going Christmas shopping with Aunt Fran and wrapping presents with her. Like everything she did it was Aunt Fran's way or no way. The paper had to be perfect. Don't use too much tape. Line up the paper so it matched all around. I still think about all those rules when I'm wrapping my presents and it puts a big smile on my face. She really did know what she was talking about.
I also remember piling up in the Dodge Caravan to go look at Christmas lights. We didn't just go to any random neighborhood. We went to the BEST neighborhood to see the BEST lights. Aunt Fran knew where they were.
Another memory would be Christmas morning. She would be waiting outside our home for the lights to go on so she could watch us open our presents and videotape us doing so. We have great videos of Christmas morning thanks to Aunt Franny.
I would give anything to wrap presents with her again or look at Christmas lights. I wish this Christmas I would wake up and her car would be outside. But I know she is looking down on all of us.
Love you Aunt Fran! Thanks for all the great memories.
