Happy Days: A Great Adventure

My Mom has off every Wednesday and we call it "Field Trip Day." We usually go somewhere that I wouldn't be able to do on my own during the week. So this week we decided to go to Great Adventure. I had a free ticket from school, a $20 off coupon for my mother and Gracie is free. Without those discounts we would not be going to Great Adventure. It's so expensive. $60 a person!! We weren't sure how much they would have for Grace but they had two kid areas and a mini zoo inside. It was great. Grace enjoyed it and was so pooped when we left. I had to wake her up from her nap because she was sleeping so long I was afraid she wouldn't fall asleep at night :) I NEVER wake her up from her nap. The whole trip was a success. Especially the long nap for Mommy afterwards.

This is more like it. She loves stuffed animals!

The zoo was cute.

There were birds, seals, cubs, goats, pigs, kangaroos and some other animals.

here all day. She loved being able to see them so closely.

I love this picture of Grace looking at the goats. Her feet are so cute.

These goats were only 6 months old. If you look closely in the cage there is a black piglet laying down. Too cute!

Lunch break... pizza, fries, cheese sticks and salad.

Grace choose the salad. I guess she is on a diet.

Water time!!! This water tower would shower Grace with water and then stop and fill up again and then shower Grace with water and stop and fill up again! It was great and a good way to cool off in the heat.

This girl LOVES water! She is a little fish.

The next couple of pictures are amazing to me. I can't believe how big she is already. She is running and laughing. Such a little kid.

I had to look back in my pictures and see what she was like this time last year and this is a picture of us in July last year. It is so unbelievable to me how much my baby has grown in a year. She is learning so much so quickly. She is the sweetest little girl but has a really funny, crazy side! I've never laughed so much before. She cracks me up everyday. It really is an amazing summer together. I am so lucky to have this time with her.
