This year I start my 7th year of teaching at John Adams. I can't believe how quickly time has gone. It seems like yesterday I was walking into this school. I always go into school the week before to set up my classroom, make copies, do bulletin boards and get myself all together before the students arrive. I went one day without Grace and the next day I brought her because I had some more things I needed to do. She had a blast in my classroom. Of course she tried out every desk. She love climbing into the chair and then out and then into another chair and then out... Then she found my chair and was all set. She loved that it was cushioned and it went around in circles.

Being back to work is really hard. I miss being with Grace so much. The three hours at night are just too short. I wish I could stay home with her but I do love teaching. There is a great reward to this job. Plus the best part about teaching is having summers off to spend with my family. 176 days to go :)
