Happy Halloween

Grace's favorite show is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. So this year I thought it would be a great idea for her to be Minnie Mouse. So here is our little Minnie.
Grace is normally with her Grammy on Mondays but we didn't want to her miss the Halloween Parade at school. So we sent Grace into school so she could join in on all the festivities with her friends. Part of the Halloween celebration at her day care was "Trunk or Treating." We signed up to be one of the decorated trunks. I loaded up on Halloween decorations from the dollar store and we got our trunk all ready for the parade.
Here is it. I thought it looked really cute :)
Here is Minnie Mouse at her parade. It was so cute with all the little children. They walked around the parking lot in front of all the parents and grandparents :)

Enjoying our trunk with all the decorations. She is holding the control for the musical lights. She loved those.

Trick or Treating in the neighborhood.
Gracie and her friend Bridget from down the street.
Then we went to visit her friend Erin whose parents we met in Lamaze class. The girls were born about a week apart and have the same pediatrician. We always go for Saturday check-ups and Erin and her parents are always there as well. When we moved we found out that they lived right around the corner from us. I think their friendship is meant to be :)
The best family picture we could get. At least Minnie is smiling.
The neighborhood kids... Robert, Ava, Grace and Bridget
It's so nice for Grace to have friends around the same age :)
Minnie trying to show her belly button :) She always loves to show it off!
Aunt Kat came to visit and brought Grace some organic candy. Thanks Aunt Kat :)
And after pizza... she still wanted candy :)
Halloween is one of the best holidays. Being able to go around and get a bucket full of candy is my kind of day. I'm still eating Grace's candy.
