Aunt Fran used to make the best cake. It was a vanilla cake with with peaches on the bottom. So simple and so delicious. I have to get the actual recipe if it is floating around but we tried. We put peaches on the bottom and little brown sugar over the peaches and vanilla cake mix on the top. It was so yummy.

Here is Gracie eating the batter and I know there are raw eggs in it but I grew up eating cake batter and I'm fine. I mean it's really the best part of baking.... The cake batter :)
One of my favorite pictures. The day after Grace came home from the hospital Aunt Fran came over to meet her. Aunt Fran passed away a month later. I wish that Grace could have grown up knowing this wonderful woman. I will make sure that Grace knows about Aunt Fran through stories and pictures. When I was telling Grace about Aunt Fran while we were making the cake Grace says, "Can I see Aunt Fran?" I showed her some pictures. Love you Aunt Franny.
