Winter Storm Nemo

Finally... A snow storm!!! I was so excited to get some snow and bring the girls out sleigh riding.
The best part about the snow was that there was enough for Tony to have the whole weekend off. That is a treat these days. He's been working so much. It's really nice to have him home two days in a row because that rarely happens.
The day began with Grace waking up extra early.. a little before 6 am. She was so excited that there was snow outside that she had to go out immediately. I was shoveling a place for Texy to go potty. So she put her boots, coat and hat on and came outside with me.
Here is Grace licking the snow.
We got a good amount of snow. Look at the top of Grace's picnic table!!! Probably about 8 inches there.
Trying to con her into coming inside. It was so early and she was so loud. I felt like she was going to wake up the whole neighborhood.
So we woke Daddy up... ate breakfast and got them all dressed up. By the time I got all of Grace's layers on and her snowsuit she couldn't walk. Poor thing was so upset.
All ready to go with Daddy. We didn't think Grace was going to last too long outside. Look at that face. She was not into all the clothes we had to put on her. It was still so cold and windy we had to bundle them up.

Lily's first sleigh ride with Daddy
My chubby little monkey!!! Love that Lily pie.

I look like an eskimo in this picture but it was seriously so cold. I had to put my hood on :)
Grace's friend, Ava, came over to sleigh ride with us. Who knew our driveway would make such a great hill for 2 and 3 year olds. They had a blast!
Grace's turn for a sleigh ride.

 Love the snow

The neighborhood girls. They had so much fun going down the driveway.
I even joined in on the fun.
It was so much fun playing in the snow. We were outside for at least two hours. It took Grace a little while to get used to the snow and cold but once she started going sleigh riding she had a blast!! Fun times.

A little clip of Lily's first sleigh ride.
