A month ago we planned for Kathleen to come to New Jersey to visit her new niece. We never thought we would be spending this time grieving our Aunt Fran. It was both a happy occassion that Kat met Grace and at the same time a very sad time in our family's lives. It was an emotional roller coaster for the past week. We did spend this weekend together and doing things that reminded us of our Aunt Franny, like starting the day with Mrs. Obcos Donuts and ending the day with Hoffman's Ice Cream. We did want to go to the boardwalk but the rain stopped us from doing that. I am thankful that Kat got to spend time with Gracie and I know Aunt Fran was looking down on us the whole time enjoying our time together.
