On Wednesday we headed back to the Magic Kingdom which was a perfect 10 minute walk from the hotel. It was great to pack the girls up and stroll them to the park. Loved staying at the Contemporary. They had magic hours so we were able to get in an hour before anyone who wasn't staying on property. It was perfect. We headed right to the Magic Carpet Ride. She went on that twice. Once with me and once with Tony. Then we did It's a Small World again. That was Grace's favorite ride and Lily enjoyed it too. So much for her to look at. After that we did the Carrousel, Ariel's Little Mermaid ride and the Winnie-the-Pooh ride. They were all so much fun. I love Disney because they make it so family friendly. We were all able to enjoy those rides and we had so much fun!! Made me feel like a little kid again.
Here is Gracie and me on the magic carpets.
The Little Mermaid ride
We saw this and thought of Mya. We know she would have so much fun!
This was Pixie Cove. Tinkerbell and her friends were there for a meet and greet.
Grace's first time on the horse. She would usually sit on one of the benches. She loved it!!
All buckled up
My precious princess being carried around the kingdom.
Seeing the Fairy Godmother again!!
Cinderella's Fountain
Going into Cinderella's Castle for a Royal Lunch
Walking up the spiral staircase
Princess Grace's table
Snow White
Princess Aurora
Ariel
All the princesses were so sweet. They are all true princesses. They made my girls so happy. I have so many amazing memories from this. Grace is so shy and she totally came out of her shell on this vacation. She was in heaven. It is truly the most magical place.
Princess Jasmine
We got to lunch and Grace was beyond excited to meet Cinderella. We asked the waitress what princesses would be there today and she did not say Cinderella. I didn't know what to say to Grace. All she kept saying through lunch was that she didn't see Cinderella. This was what she was waiting for the entire trip. She kept talking about going to eat with Cinderella. I was so upset. I couldn't break her heart. The hostess told us she had to take us to take a picture and we went down an elevator only to see Cinderella waiting for Grace. It was the best!! I know she doesn't look happy in this picture but she was in heaven (and so was I - disaster adverted).
Walking down the spiral staircase.
A special kiss for her sister.
Hanging out in the lobby.
Enjoying the moment!!
After lunch it was time to leave. We had been there since 7 am. We were done! So Grace said goodbye to Cinderella's castle. We thought this was going to be the last time we saw the castle this trip.
Walking with Daddy back to the hotel.
We decided to get some food on our last night and eat in the room. It was a perfect end to a perfect trip.
We decided to go back and see the fireworks at night. We bundled the girls up and put them in the stroller. By the time we got to the Magic Kingdom Grace was sleeping. Lily was ready to party.
Beautiful fireworks
Grace woke up for the fireworks. I held her. She wasn't too happy with us but talked about them first thing the next morning.
Amazing!!!
A happy Daddy
Sweet Dreams.
