Grace and Lily's school had an after school event at Point Pleasant Boardwalk. Rainbow Academy helped build the world tallest sandcastle. Ed Jarrett is working on building a 50 foot "Sandy Castle" at the Jersey Shore. He couldn't do it all by himself so he asked for volunteers to help build the sandcastle. The kids went into the sandbox, the parents climbed up the scaffolding and buckets were filled, sent to the top, dumped and sent back down for the kids to refill them again. It was a perfect night and we loved being part of a world record event. We added our name to a list that would be used for the Guinness Book of World Records.
The form was build to hold the sand in place. Once it is filled to the top they are going to take down the scaffolding and Ed Jarrett is going to start sculpting it.
